ISSUE 38: JANUARY 2013

Hello there, Neighbor!

Since I last wrote to you we made the trips we talked about in the last issue; Christmas shoe boxes, first aid supplies, food and dog food for Celilo, OR; Christmas shoe boxes for Colville, WA; food, Christmas gifts and shoe boxes for St. Ignatius, MT; Bibles, shoe boxes and gifts for Larry McKinney’s ministry here in Portland; food, clothing, Bibles, Christmas gifts and shoe boxes for Spokane, WA; and food, vehicles, Bibles, clothing, furniture, and household goods for Pine Ridge, SD. There’s not enough room to show you pictures in this issue so we’ll have to put the rest in the next issue, but here’s a glimpse of what we did. Teammates, you did a wonderful job with the shoe box ministry! Just look at all the reservations that were blessed because of your generous giving. We can’t thank you enough for your work for First Nation Ministries.

In December, our computer system crashed and it took quite a while to get everything back in order, but we have for the most part. The Big Rig is now in South Dakota ready to be sold. Why South Dakota, you may ask? Well, there are a lot of men working in the oil fields of North Dakota who need trucks and we’re praying one of them will “need” ours. Please pray that the rig will sell so that we can move ahead with the purchase of a box van for the ministry. We still need a warehouse so keep praying that the Lord will direct our steps in that area.

I Samuel 2:9 reads, “He will keep the feet of His saints” and at 90 years old I can tell you with authority, He DOES. I never dreamed I would live this long (I don’t think any Cline ever has), but I can look back through my life and see time after time that He has kept my feet. Praise His Holy Name! When the way is dangerous, He will keep us if we are obedient to Him. He keeps us from falling with His protection; He keeps us from going astray by guiding us; He keeps us from weariness by giving us strength for the day; and He protects us from the snare of the enemy with His wisdom. We can face this new year with confidence and strength; The Lord is for us. Romans 8:31 says, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us who can be against us?” and again in Psalms 108:13 it reads, “Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that shall tread down our enemies.” As the old hymn says, “What have I to fear, what have I to dread, leaning on the everlasting arms” Bless you, Teammates, for all your prayers, donations, and financial support. Happy New Year!

Your old missionary brother, Don Cline
